Visitor's Code of Awesome
  1. Remember that you are about to enter a working farm. There are farmers, riders, animals and plants around! Make sure to use your common sense to respect their work and beauty. And remove those earbuds so you can hear the hummingbirds.
  2. There is no entrance fee, but there are two donation boxes beside each entrance! Thank you for supporting us and contributing to the long term life expectancy of this farm and natural land in the city! We save donation money for special projects.
  3. Bring your children along, they will love it! And remember to keep an eye on them at all time.
  4. Dogs are welcome as well, if they are friendly with people and animals and kept on leach at all time and are friendly with people and animals. Any dog which barks constantly, or is not calm and peaceful is not allowed on the farm property. Any person whose dog harms a farm animal will be subject to a minimum fine of $500 per animal plus any additional charges incurred by vet bills. The fine for killing a farm animal or causing injury which leads to death of a farm animal will be a minimum of $1000. Exceptions to the dog on leash rules may be made solely by the Farm Owner, Jennifer or Rick Maynard.
  5. Pack it in, Pack it out! Encouraging zero-waste choices, we don't hold bins for our visitors. Please, take your garbage and recycling items back home.
  6. We sell what we grow!! Please, leave the berries, apples, veggies, eggs (...) for the farmers to harvest. If you want to purchase some produce, check out the market fridge on the deck or our market from June to October.
  7. Horses are biiiiiiiiiiig animals. They can get scared and kick hard when people are running around and/or screaming. Make sure to control your enthusiasm :)
  8. If you open it, close it! Gates must be kept closed.
  9. Our animals are on special diet! Ask a farmer whether you can give them a treat or not.
  10. Smoking of anything is not permitted anywhere on property.
  11. There are hand washing stations around, remember to wash your paws before eating or before you leave.
  12. "Eeeewwwwwwwwwww", "Groooooooosssss" and "Yucky" are forbidden words here. Instead, we say "Wow Awesome!"
