B-Day Parties

Spend your birthday in farm and pony paradise! Your child could spend their big day exploring Southlands Farm with friends while meeting the sheep, chickens, bees & ponies, baking animal treats or learning to ride!

See below for our different party options!

Plastic-Free Party Policy

When booking a Birthday Party at Southlands Heritage Farm, please do your best to organise your supplies with plastic-free options only (cutlery, dishes, wrapping, goody bags, decoration, table cloth, juice boxes/water bottles, cake box...). Thank you for respecting the planet!

Number of Children

For Pony Parties, we are fairly strict about start and end times, and maximum numbers of children. This is so each child has time for a satisfactory ride during the allotted time. Our instructors often have other commitments or lessons immediately after the party, so they cannot run late!
For Farm Parties we are a bit more relaxed about numbers. Either way, please let us know upon arrival exactly how many children you are expecting so that we can time things appropriately for you.

Farm Party - 15 kids CAD$250 per appointment

For up to 15 kids.
2 hours on the farm.
1 hour farm tour: a fun and engaging real farm experience lead by our competent Farm Educators. Explore the farm and meet the many animals that call Southlands Farm home. Meet the horses, goats, chickens, ducks, sheep, pig, and donkey - there is so much to do your group won't want to leave!
1 hour for your cake, snacks and presents. You are welcome to use our playground area.

Pony Party - 10 kids. 2 hours CAD$390 per appointment

Spend your birthday in pony paradise! Your child and friends will spend an hour exploring Southlands Farm while meeting the sheep, goats, chickens, grooming ponies, and taking turns going for pony rides! We will have a horse for kids to have a fun mini riding lesson one at a time, adapted to their horse experience, while the rest of the kids will be engaged in exploring the farm and meeting and caring for the horses and farm animals. Leave your party planning in the hands of our Farm Educators and they will make sure to engage your group in an exciting series of farm activities. The second hour of your booking is for your group to relax, play games, open presents, and eat cake in our Cob Shelter.

Pony Party - 15 kids, 2.5 hours CAD$500 per appointment

Spend your birthday in pony paradise! Your child and friends will spend an hour and a half exploring Southlands Farm while meeting the sheep, goats, chickens, grooming ponies, and taking turns going for pony rides! We will have a horse for kids to have a fun mini riding lesson one at a time, adapted to their horse experience, while the rest of the kids will be engaged in exploring the farm and meeting and caring for the horses and farm animals. Leave your party planning in the hands of our Farm Educators and they will make sure to engage your group in an exciting series of farm activities. The last hour of your booking is for your group to relax, play games, open presents, and eat cake in our Cob Shelter.
